Amar'e Stoudemire: 'We'd All Love Carmelo' to Join Knicks

DENVER -- When it comes to Carmelo Anthony, New York forward Amar'e Stoudemire says, "I'm not a recruiter.''

Then again, he's already doing a pretty good job of getting the word out he'd love the Denver Nuggets star forward to join the Knicks at least by next season.

"I love Carmelo, man,'' Stoudemire said after shootaround Tuesday in preparation for the evening game against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. "He's a good friend of mine. So, obviously, any time you team up with great friends of yours, it'd be a lot of fun. But, again, we both have our individual situations with our particular teams and we have to focus in on that. So we can't really determine what the near future holds. Any time time you can team up with a good friend, that would be great.''

MADRID — Earlier in the night Justin Bieber lost Best New Act to Ke$ha at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards, but he certainly redeemed himself when he won the category of Best Male. He beat out vets like Eminem, his mentor Usher, Enrique Iglesias and Kanye West for the prize.

He accepted the award from "Hannah Montana" star Emily Osment via satellite since he was acting as the night's digital host. Wearing a black leather jacket and T-shirt, he told the crowd at the Caja Magica in Madrid, "This is amazing. I don't even know what to say. I think that all the other artists in the category are inspirations to me. I'm honored to win this. It's a big achievement."

And since Bieber wasn't there, they played the video for "Baby" — perhaps to remind everyone why he won the award. Bieber also won the award for Best Push Artist.

Earlier this year, Bieber won the Best New Artist VMA. "Wow," the teen sensation gasped after making his way to the stage back in September. Bieber said that as a young kid from Canada, he was surprised by the honor, saying, "This means a lot to me." The teen star shouted out music industry execs, showed respect to his "big bro" ("Thank you to Usher for being my mentor") and, of course, his fans: "Thank you to everybody here."

When Ke$ha took the stage for her Best New Act award during the EMA show earlier on Sunday, she expressed her gratitude to the fans for helping her beat out the likes of Bieber, Jason Derülo and B.o.B. "Oh my god! You guys, I'm gonna pee my pants!" she said, clutching her award. "Thank you to my fans. My fans are badass. I also want to thank my mom and my family, RCA, Dr. Luke and everyone who ever believed in me, but I could not have done this without my amazing, crazy, beautiful fans. Thank you so much. I make music for you and hopefully I can inspire you guys to give the finger to the cynics and f---ing be yourself, so thank you so much."

New Led Zeppelin On The Way? Jason Bonham Hints At 'Jam' Sessions With Jimmy Page -- But Not Robert Plant

Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'
By Chris Harris

On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said.

Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing."

It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand.

Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit.

"I've been over [to England] a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing."

He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do."

Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time.

Exclusive: Swedish House Mafia Unveil New 'Take One' Trailer

Documentary will be available for purchase with the 'Until One' deluxe book set November 30.

In September, MTV News was among the first to bring you a trailer for "Take One," a film by music-video director/ editor Christian Larson documenting the two-year rise of Swedish House Mafia from a trio of successful music producers (in their own right) to a global super-brand under the SHM banner.

Now, in an exclusive treat just for you, MTV News has a brand-new trailer for the documentary, which will be packaged with the "Until One" deluxe book set November 30; the film's digital release is forthcoming.

The new clip begins in 2009 with the three Swedes — Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell — in a hotel room listening to an early version of the '09 WMC conference anthem "Leave the World Behind," their hit collaboration with Dutch producer Laidback Luke and Deborah Cox. The gents were particularly excited to unleash the song upon their legions of fans at WMC in Miami.

"It goes like this!" Ingrosso exclaims as the song ramps up. "They'll go crazy!" The majority of the trailer is an explosive montage of the many electric performances fans will get to see in the film, including WMC '09, their 2009 show at the U.K.'s Brixton Academy and their dramatic WMC 2010 set. A shot of Steve Angello's now-infamous encounter with Paris Hilton is also thrown in for good measure.

Fans are also gifted a revealing glimpse of the Mafia's recording process. Axwell, Angello and Ingrosso are seen in the lab tinkering with "Leave the World Behind," and the entire process of recording their hit "One" is documented.

As most Swedish House Mafia fans are aware, the three members of the holy trinity of house are close. In fact, Angello and Ingrosso, who are childhood besties, recently celebrated 10 years of recording together. But as with any familial relationship, there are periods of disagreement, and the film documents a dramatic period of time, after the big Brixton show, when the three members decide to take some time away from the group and concentrate on their solo careers.

When we caught up with the film's director in September, he elaborated on this portion of the film. "Love, in any friendship, includes conflict," Larson said. "Yeah, there are some moments of that in the film, you know, where they go off on each other. In any friendship, there is tension. But I think it's important. That tension means something for their creativity. It's important that it's not smooth all of the time."

Indeed, the trio would return to one another and record "One," which they go on to debut to more than 100,000 screaming fans at Ultra Music Fest 2010 in a particularly cinematic fashion, also documented in "Take One."

Swedish House Mafia have released the soundtrack of "Take One," a greatest-hits collection titled Until One, made up of solo material and the group's two new hits, "One" (featuring vocals by Pharrell Williams) and "Miami 2 Ibiza" (with bars by British rapper Tinie Tempah). "Take One" will be packaged with the "Until One" deluxe book set November 30; the film's digital release is on the horizon.

Suns Assign Gani Lawal to NBA D-League's Iowa Energy

Gani LawalThe Phoenix Suns have assigned rookie power forward Gani Lawal to the NBA D-League's Iowa Energy, the team announced today.

This news may come as a bit of a surprise considering yesterday's announcement that Suns' starting big man Robin Lopez will miss several weeks with a knee injury, though the Suns plan to start Channing Frye at center and will sign former D-Leaguer center Earl Barron to bolster the front court while Lopez is out.

The 6-foot-9 Lawal was selected by the Suns with the 46th overall pick in this year's draft, though at one point he was considered a potential late first-round selection when he decided to withdraw his name from the 2009 NBA Draft. That didn't happen, in part due to sharing Georgia Tech's frontcourt with Derrick Favors, who was selected 43 spots ahead of Lawal by the New Jersey Nets.

'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' Footage Leaks Online

First 36 minutes of film were posted on torrent site.

Three more days was apparently too long for some "Harry Potter" fans to wait. According to TorrentFreak.com, the first 36 minutes of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" leaked online on Tuesday morning, with thousands of fans scrambling to get their hands on the footage before it disappeared.

The movie, which officially opens on Friday, is the first half of the two-part finale of the series, and TorrentFreak reported that even before the leak, it was the most searched for film on a number of torrent sites. While many movies, especially the "Potter" films, eventually find their way online to the torrent sites, where fans can download them for free, the leak of a highly anticipated film like "Potter" is a major concern for studio Warner Bros.

"This constitutes a serious breach of copyright violation and theft of Warner Bros. property," the studio told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "We are working actively to restrict and/or remove copies that may be available. Also, we are vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law."

The source of the leak was unknown at press time. Last year's "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide and was on the list of the most-pirated movies of the year, with more than 8 million illegal downloads.

You can understand why Potter fanatics are so excited about the penultimate film, especially since star Daniel Radcliffe recently told MTV News that "Potter" author J.K. Rowling sent him a text message after last week's London premiere assuring him that she was not going to write any more books in the series.

"Basically, it amounted to the fact that she felt I had been very good in this 'Harry Potter' film, and as a reward for that, she wasn't going to [write] any more 'Harry Potter' [books]," Radcliffe said.

Check out everything we've got on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1."
