O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen had to be separated by teammates after a contentious card game on the Grizzlies team plane Monday, according to a Yahoo! Sports report. Mayo apparently owed Allen money from the game, and increasingly antagonized Allen over paying the debt. According to the report, Allen walked away to go to the bathroom, but was confronted by Mayo again when he returned. Eventually, the report says, Mayo inched close to Allen, and Allen hit him. Several players stepped in to stop the fight. "Tony warned (Mayo) to watch his mouth, and (Mayo) wouldn't do it and just kept going off on him," a source told Yahoo! Sports. The teammates met with coach Lionel Hollins on Monday about the incident, and spoke with each other on Monday and Tuesday, apparently settling the acrimony.

The PGA Tour's Q-School has always been a test of nerves, physical conditioning, and mental fortitude. It's intended to test the mettle of young players and make them earn their way onto the top tour in golf. Veteran Billy Mayfair proved last week that experience trumps energy level, as he claimed medalist honors from the 166-man field. Mayfair and eight other players over the age of 30 were among the 29 qualifiers that earned a tour card for 2011. Some other numbers of note about your newest Tour members include seven international players, only eight players without a PGA Tour start in their career, and 18 of the 29 will officially be rookies in 2011. Now that you know the make-up of the 29 qualifiers, let's take a look at who is most likely to make an impact in 2011: (Editor's Note: Because many of the qualifiers are untested on the big Tour, we're not going to attempt to rank them. Alphabetical order for your enjoyment.)

Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven will have their day together in Cooperstown this summer. The pair were elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Wednesday by the Baseball Writers' Association of America a year after falling maddeningly short of induction. Alomar was just eight votes shy of the total required for induction in 2010 while Blyleven was a mere five. "It's been 14 years of praying and waiting, and I thank the baseball writers of America for, I'm going to say, finally getting it right," said Blyleven, who was elected in his second-to-last year on the ballot. "As far as how I feel right now, I've got goosebumps." Added Alomar later: "I feel real honored to be a part of the Hall of Fame, to be part of the elite ballplayers to ever play the game. "It was real surprising. I didn't expect to get so many votes. I know last year was a little bit disappointing, but the on the other hand I feel real happy with what happened this year. I'm excited. This is a real exciting moment for me," he said. "Last year I got so close, I expected that this year I (would) at least be able to make it, but I didn't think that I was going to get that many votes."

'This was a record that [MJ] wrote and that he produced. And I just got in there,' the producer maintains.

While detractors of Michael Jackson's Michael album cry foul over the unfinished material that makes up the bulk of the posthumous project, producer Christopher "Tricky" Stewart is insisting that his contribution to the release was material MJ put together — and finished — himself.
In the case of "Keep Your Head Up," one of the album's biggest standouts, Stewart told MTV News that the track was not a remake of any kind. Rather, he just added minor additional production flourishes to the number.
"The main thing I wanted to do was make sure that Michael would like it," said Stewart, who has worked with Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and The-Dream. "And that it would feel like something he would do naturally if he was here. A lot of it was probably me overthinking it a little bit. And trying to deliver what I think he would do. And there's so much music that he made that I could reference the precision of what he was into musically. I did that and this was a song that he wrote. It wasn't he and me making a record. This was a record that he wrote and that he produced. And I just got in there.
He added, "It was really just about getting into his mental space and trying to find out the best way to deliver that record."
"Keep Your Head" leaked online prior to Michael's release and was under scrutiny regarding the validity of MJ's vocals.
Although, it's evident that Jackson's lead crooning on "Keep Your Head" is authentic and new, some of the background vocals are alleged to be from previously released material, like the 1995 tune "Earth Song."
Stewart confirmed that the primary vocals are Jackson's and said he was satisfied with the result.
"It was really surreal," the producer said of the experience. "Getting into that moment and getting into that space, to have the opportunity to work with the greatest entertainer of all time. Or work on, I should say. It was a tremendous time in my life to just get in there and listen to his voice, be able to strip down the track and listen to him in his purest form — something that most people can't do. It was a great experience. I'm glad I did it, I had a lot of fun doing it and I think the track came out great."
